Congratulations to James Cappleman, LCSW and NASW member, for becoming the newest alderman of the 46th Ward in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. James was endorsed last fall by the NASW Illinois Chapter Political Action Committee (NASW IL PAC) and will serve the next four years in city council. It is an exciting time as we will have several new social work supporters and now a licensed social worker providing a unique insight to legislation.
